CCIC Attends ACBC Food and Agribusiness Summit in Sydney

On November 2nd, upon invitation by Australia China Business Council, CCIC Australia attends its Food and Agribusiness Summit held in Sydney when Al Liang, vice marketing manager delivers a speech on the company’s traceability solutions for Australian foods and agricultural exports to China. After nearly a year of implementation of ChaFTA, there has been an increase in Australian food exports as a whole, but this increase is limited due to a number of reasons, one of which is the lack of an effective mechanism at government levels to boost bilateral trade. CCIC’s PSI or pre-shipment inspection as well as its online traceability system is aimed at offering a better channel for market access of Australian exports. Officials from the Australian government and China Consulate General in Sydney have also attended the summit.
